This image comes from the Bishops' transcripts of the Felkirk parish records. The originals are in the Borthwick Institute in York. We learn from this record that Charles, was the son of Isaac and Mary Law. He was christened on January 27, 1832. The parents lived in South Hiendley. Isaac was a cordwainer (a shoemaker). I can't quite make out the beginning of the curate's name, but the "bachcroft" is the ending portion of the name.
